On Saturday, I went with Jenn to Granville Island to check out one of the places for Vancouver’s Art Festival (http://www.vancouverdrawdown.com/). I’m not a very good drawer but it seemed like a lot of fun!
We walked around Granville Island to try and find Emily Carr since we both haven’t been there before. We walked a huge circle until we finally made it!
There were signs that lead us to the place to draw:
We came at around 1:30 but the next workshop didn’t start till 2:00 so we decided to go eat first and come back.
On the way back to the market we stopped at this make something out of recycled stuff. I’m not really an art’s and craft type of person either but I tried my best to make something out of it. I originally wanted to create an awesome spring-pipecleaner-dinosaur but that didn’t pan out the way I expected it to and it ended up as an awesome person.
We lost track of time and we didn’t make it back to the workshop so we decided to just eat!
We got this delicious sampler plate at the fish and chips place in the market. It came with cod, oyster, shrimp, kalamari, onion rings, and french fries for only $15!
Overall, I had a really fun time and was glad Jenn invited me to join her!
