Romel, Simcoe, and I ventured off to North Vancouver on Memorial Day morning! Our original mission was to head over to Deep Cove because Romel wanted to try Honey Doughnuts and Goodies as he has been on the hunt for the perfect fluffy doughnut. However, Romel took a different route from our home and so we also made a quick stop by Lonsdale Quay!

Our next stop was Deep Cove to try those infamous doughnuts! We got one original and one maple flavoured doughnut! Romel really enjoyed the original flavour, whereas I was a fan of  the maple. We thought they lived up to the hype and would definitely make a trip of it again for more.

We ended up making our way through this foresty area which was an easier walk and lead us to a beautiful beach area. Romel took Simcoe closer to the shoreline to dip his paws in the open water for the first time. We’re not sure if he enjoyed it but how cute are these boys?!
