Life With Jenn
April 22, 2014

Time sure does fly! It’s almost been an entire month since Jenn joined me in San Francisco for three weeks. I seriously don’t think i would have been able to successfully choose the furniture, build the furniture, AND put them in places that make sense without her help. Oh and also choosing the right appliances and all that other stuff. It’s the first time either of us have experienced this kind of thing so it’s been real fun and actually not too stressful.

For the three weeks Jenn’s been here, we really got to experience a little taste of how it’d be like to live with each other. We learned a lot of things about each other and have also learned a lot together.

Aside from the misalignment of our definition of “clean” I can’t really think of any negatives about living with Jenn.

Here are some of the positives though!

1) She makes awesome food! Jenn’s really been stepping up her cooking and has been experimenting a lot with different types of food that aren’t that easy to make. She’s cooked things from Tonkatsu, Chicken Souvlaki, and even baked tilapia with parmesan cheese. Coming home from a long day of work to her delicious creations have been awesome.

2) Someone to explore the city with Exploring and walking around a new city can be fun, but it’s always a lot more fun with someone else. I found that sharing these experiences with Jenn is a lot better than just experiencing it on my own! When we go to food cart places I don’t only have to try one thing, Jenn gets to order what she wants and I get to try two things! That way I don’t have to come back or suffer from a self inflicted food coma.

3) She makes sure my packages are alright I could say I have this “minor” issue with package anxiety. I always like to check whether or not the item has been delivered. Having Amazon Prime in America where I never need to go to the border to pick up my packages and everything just comes to the place does not help at all. There are days when there is only one package, but there are days when there are four or five! I know there’s tracking numbers but they don’t always leave it in front of the door and I am afraid someone will get my packages. With Jenn being here, she’s always there to check when I ask her, she’ll get a message from me every few hours asking if the packages have arrived.

4) Waking up to her It’s awesome to wake up in the morning and the first thing that I see is Jenn. I wouldn’t want to start my day any other way.

Anyways, that’s all for now! I’ll update the blog with some pictures from our recent adventures in San Francisco together so stay tuned. I can’t wait till Jenn gets back to San Francisco though! I really miss her and can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her. If these three weeks are any indication of what’d it be like, it’s going to be super awesome!
