It’s been a very long break but we are finally back. It’s still a “soft launch” (as Romel puts it) but it’s definitely better than nothing! I am so happy to be blogging again and we have a lot of awesome new ideas for The Best of Both 2.0.
So what have I been up to since my last post more than 5 months ago?
As pictures speak louder than words:
I graduated! I now have a Bachelor’s degree in Science, with my major as Biochemistry. Hooray!
I went to Australia! I had such a great time spending time with family, relaxing on the beach, visiting all sorts of museums + restaurants, and playing with the kangaroos + koalas.
A month and a half ago, I started going to the gym with Romel! I haven’t done any physical activity since high school, so this is huge for me. I am actually loving it, especially when we work out together!
Romel and I also enrolled into a sewing class! So far, we have made some pretty sweet tote bags. We also invested in a sewing machine, so look out for some DIY projects in the near future.
As of right now, life-wise, I still haven’t figured out what I want to do but I definitely feel like I’m breaking out of my bubble and trying a lot of new things. I recently started volunteering at a couple of organizations, interning for an up-and-coming local fashion company, and putting in some time in my own designing & card-making. But I’ll share more about my daily adventures later on.
For now, here are a couple of photos that Romel and I took on a family outing to one of my favourite Vancouver locations, Granville Island! Although I’ve been drawn to neutral colours the past couple of months, I always find my way back to a palette of colours.
Again, it’s good to be back and I hope you all continue to check out the blog in the future. Thank you for all the support!
